When you are in Google Earth you have the ability to add a placemark, add a polygon, add a path or add an image overlay. Once you have created the feature that you would like to share you simply right-click on it and choose "Save Place As", then browse to the file or directory on your computer where you want to save the KMZ file.

Once your file is saved you can come here to kmzdownload.com and attach your file to the web page.
